Understanding your life destiny is a process that requires patience, tenacity, and resilience. In the year 2000, I relocated to New York City from Houston, Tx to explore new professional opportunities as part of the “Millennial Era”. Posing at the World Trade Center in the photo below would be the start of a historic decade of environmental changes that would impact the world. Education in social work, which initially began in 1992 for me at Texas Southern University and Houston Community College, has offered opportunities to support the most marginalized and vulnerable individuals in the State of New York. As previously stated, destiny is a process that can be considered a life journey. Providing social work services in the non-profit sector has been a rewarding journey for me these past thirteen years, as people's lives have improved through evidence-based practices. My goal is to extend such services to support the public and private sectors through consultations, life/professional coaching, specific matter training, online webinars, and workshops.
